Shot just before the theatres closed, the video for ROOM WITH A VIEW was conceived as a magnetic storm, a last rave before the Apocalypse.
The wind is blowing in the Châtelet theatre. A spectator is violently torn from her seat and propelled to the centre of the stage. RONE, sitting on the sidelines, observes the whirlwind of bodies. As the storm rages on, he rushes towards the emergency exit and everyone rushes in after him. RONE’s music carries the dancers in a frantic race through the spaces of the theatre, until a new horizon opens up to them.
With this clip, (LA)HORDE continues its exploration of forms of uprising and protest, inventing new ways of uniting and joining forces.
