Leïla Ka has made her mark with her combative energy in just a few years. Her dance is powerfully theatrical and incredibly precise.
After the international success of her first three multi-award-winning pieces, Pode ser / C’est toi qu’on adore / Bouffées, Leïla Ka created Maldonne, her first group piece, nominated for the International Dance Prize at Sadler’s Wells in London.
Having entered the world of dance through urban dance, the young woman did not attend dance school, instead charting a course off the beaten track of academicism. After performing for Maguy Marin, Leïla Ka created her own choreographies, drawing on her urban and contemporary influences.

She is currently an associate artist at La Garance, national scene in Cavaillon, DSN,  national scene in Dieppe, and MC2, national scene in Grenoble.
She is also developing her talent as a choreographer/set designer outside the box: she has notably choreographed the 2025 César Awards ceremony and music videos for Zaho de Sagazan.
