Created for the Crochetan mobile device “La danse, c’est (dans ta) classe”, in March 2018
Pas au Tableau is first and foremost a short piece in which dance takes over the classroom, movement meets words, and the blackboard becomes a backdrop.
Choreographed by Ambra Senatore, Pas au Tableau turns the classroom into a playground, reinventing it as a stage set. Seven words on the blackboard form the rules of the game, providing the material for the solo performance. It is also a time for discussion, where students can share their feelings and experiment with the elements of the game in order to understand the choreographic composition.
